Business Development / Projects Officer.

Description: A dynamic company in the telecommunications sector requires a Business Development /Projects Officer. The ideal candidate should be tech savvy, well organized, and articulate and should be highly motivated with the ability to drive change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.  Core Functions:  Execute administrative tasks for new business ventures being undertaken by the company from conceptualization to implementation Coordinate activities with internal/external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner to achieve project deliverables Assist with development of project management tools and high level project proposals, including feasibility studies, projections, graphics and analyses.  Plan, prepare and deliver presentations as required during the project development implementation and marketing phases. Assist with organizing project briefings and training sessions. Administer New product roll-out procedures to ensure efficient execution Organize and attend project meetings and follow-up on action items Provide business development support through process improvements, reports, investigations and analyses; provide appropriate feedback to management to facilitate informed decision making in accordance with established schedules and timelines.
Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies/Computer Studies or equivalent Qualification A minimum of 3 years working experience in I.T. or Projects Development Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an asset. REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES: The competencies needed to effectively perform this job are: - Problem solving and analytical skills - Good oral and written communication skills - Computer proficiency especially in the use of Microsoft Office and project management Applications - Proficiency in Advanced Excel
